Street Children Project
The project aims at protecting street children from some of the legal violations they are subject to. Throughout the course of the project the organization proposes to legally represent 120 cases consisting of street children, detained by police officers. The organization also aims to help 100 street children issue identity cards and birth certificates to avoid being at risk and having their rights violated especially by policemen. By obtaining these documents, street children will also be able to benefit from healthcare services. It also intends to carry out a study on the precarious conditions that street children are subject to as well as the new amendments for Child Rights Law. The association intends to present this study to officials and to present suggested amendments to the new law proposal pertaining to the rights of street children.
