Gender Equality Library

Located at the Program Support Unit, 9 Mohamed Fahmy El Sayed St., 10th floor, Garden City
Opening Hours: Monday from 10:00am – 12:00pm, and Wednesday from 02:00pm – 04:00pm

The GE Library is intended to serve the needs of PTLs, project management, gender focal points and any of the CIDA staff members who are interested in gender issues as relating to their scope of work. The Library is open for consultation and borrowing during its opening hours as outlined above.

The GE Library has a varied collection of books, periodicals, manuals, and reference documents on Gender with specific focus on the CIDA business sectors in Egypt (education, SMEs and environment). The library resources are divided into 9 entries:

• Gender equality and education
• Gender equality and environment
• Gender equality and development
• Gender equality and health
• Gender equality and labor/SMEs
• Gender equality and violence
• Gender equality and youth
• Gender equality and agriculture

Additional resources can be introduced to the GE Library based on your recommendations and needs. Therefore, kindly forward to us the information (title, name of the author, publisher) of any book &/or reference documents that you think are valuable and can facilitate your work.
