Jasmert Team

During the 2008-2010 pilot implementation phase of the ACE Strategy, Jasmert Team were coached by CEOSS and commissioned to use art, as a medium that appeals to young people, to facilitate understanding of the Strategy and its different concepts and components.

“Ziko and Ze’rida” is a delightful string-puppet story produced by Jasmert Team and inspired by a workshop that primarily addressed youth from civil society organizations.  It is a story of a sister trying to educate her brother about active citizenship engagement. Initially, “Ziko” could not care less as he was incapable of understanding what ACE means and entails. But “Ze’rida” was able to draw his attention and transform him into an enthusiastic active citizen.
