Oyoon Art Group

Oyoon Art Group, is a group of seven friends who have known each other since childhood. They use art as a medium for development.

During the ACE Strategy pilot implementation phase (2008-2010), Oyoon Group was coached by CEOSS and commissioned to facilitate understanding of the ACE Strategy and its different concepts & elements in a workshop involving youth from different CSOs, using artistic approaches that appeal to young people.

Inspired by the process, workshop participants, together with Oyoon, captured some concepts on camera.  In addition, they designed and produced an animation film titled “Kalam Kebeer” (Big Words). In this inspired animation film, cartoon characters cheerily illustrate the Strategy’s entry points and concepts.
